If you don’t have anything good (or productive) to say, say nothing. No, this is not advice I gave my daughter today. It was advice I took as I tried to navigate the evening exhausted from the day and as she pushed every button in existence. I feel like the Frog and Toad story in which Frog sews buttons on a coat for Toad. I kind of feel like Toad, also. He is always so reactive to things. I think I have to find my inner Frog.
