One for the Varmits, One for Us

Those lonely squash hanging out amongst the six-foot weeds in the mostly abandoned garden. There were three varieties of volunteer squash that each bore one squash. We harvested one early to avoid it being eaten, the acorn squash was brought in after one bite, and we have left the spaghetti squash for the critters to polish off after gnawing on it for a while. That is finally it for the garden. All that remains it taking down the semi-functional fence and poles, removing the bricks, and weeding/mowing the plot. What will next year bring?
