Throwing a (fill in the blank)

My son has reached a phase in which he is testing the physics of every object he can get his hands on. He likes to see how these objects fly through the air and how they interact with the floor, walls, and just about anything else–repeatedly. I feel terribly sorry for our downstairs neighbors when he starts banging things on the floor and scared for our various breakables when his projectiles get elevated. This often happens in conjunction with a frustration fit.  I am really ready for this phase to be over, but I also realize that I need to play more throwing games with him to help him through it. That part works for me.
